Midnight Bedroom Skylight

Raccoons do it in alarmingly vicious ways,
which from my bug’s-eye view
beneath the covers
I witness as a forced voyeur,
an involuntary peeper
into the lives of these masked exhibitionists –

undaunted by noise,
           
                               thrown objects, 

                                                        frustration,

they copulate on and on and on…
